Using Health Equity Data to Stratify Quality Improvement Performance Measures
The California Quality Collaborative (CQC) presented as part of the Central Valley Health Network’s Improvement Collaborative series for health centers, offering guidance and best practices on how to effectively use health equity data to stratify quality improvement performance measures. Drawing upon examples from Equity and Quality at Independent Practices in LA County, CQC illustrated how to incorporate health equity data to help inform the design of quality improvement strategies and interventions aimed at reducing inequities in care and outcomes across different populations. Community Medical Centers also presented, sharing their approaches and experiences in collecting health equity data.
